Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Progress and Growth
Earlier this year, our teams in both Sparta and Carol Stream successfully finalized several key capital expenditure (CapEx) projects that had been in the works for some time. Together, we achieved significant milestones, including advancing IT initiatives, bringing much of the newly acquired equipment for both facilities online, and developing materials using Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content.
Additionally, we strengthened our organization by welcoming talented individuals across all areas of the business. These efforts position us to support future growth while ensuring we remain agile in an evolving marketplace.
Building a Strong Foundation for the Future
As stewards of Packaging Personified, we remain deeply committed to growing and enhancing our business. By prioritizing talent, refining processes, increasing capacity, and targeting the right customer markets, we are building a strong foundation for sustained success.
The projects we’ve completed—and those still underway—are already delivering meaningful results. These efforts have expanded our capacity to better serve our customers, positioned us to enhance product quality, and elevated the level of service we provide.
Our team is at the heart of this success. We build and maintain customer relationships by producing quality products and delivering them with exceptional service at competitive prices. Quality, Service, and Competitiveness are the cornerstones of the value we offer to the market. These principles set us apart from competitors and are essential to our ongoing growth.
To deliver on this promise, we rely on a capable and committed team, efficient processes, and the right tools. Recognizing their importance, Packaging Personified remains committed to ongoing investments in our people, processes, and technology. Together, we ensure that we not only meet but exceed customer expectations.
Achieving Growth and Securing New Business
Winning new customers and growing existing customer relationships requires effort from each of us as a team. Our sales team continues to work diligently to achieve our sales targets, regaining much of the business volume from 2023 while adding new customer relationships at a faster pace than our historical average. Many of these new partnerships include commitments that will fully materialize in 2025, further contributing to our long-term growth plans.
Focus Areas for Continued Progress
While we’ve made significant progress in 2024, we know there is more to accomplish. Together, we remain focused on several critical priorities:
Advancing Information Systems: Building out our information systems remains a top priority. This effort has been years in the making, and we understand the importance of staying the course to ensure we have the tools necessary to support our ambitious objectives.
Expanding Business Opportunities: We will continue to grow our relationships with existing customers while pursuing opportunities with new ones. By delivering quality and exceptional service, we aim to deepen customer trust and loyalty.
Investing in the Future: The strategic investments we’ve made over the past three years—in technology, infrastructure, and talent—are designed to support these objectives and position us for long-term success.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on all we’ve accomplished in 2024, it’s clear that our collective efforts are driving meaningful change and creating a stronger, more resilient company. However, we know there is more work to do. By staying focused, collaborative, and committed to excellence, we will continue to build on this momentum in the years ahead.

New Equipment and Updates!
This year, we’ve welcomed not one but two Century Tech bag machines to our production floor, with outstanding results already exceeding our run-rate expectations. Building on this success, we’ve kicked off a larger project to upgrade five more machines, reinforcing our commitment to efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement. A big thank you to Century Tech for being an exceptional partner—here’s to stronger partnerships and smarter solutions in the year ahead!
A TWEN technician shared how impressive the #TAC_M user interface is, highlighting its automation capabilities and the unique value of cleaning 10 aniloxes per cycle to enhance flexo press performance.
Achievements, Records & Shout Outs
Our Extrusion Department set a new company record in March with an unprecedented pound output at a single location, showcasing their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence—congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
Congratulations Andy for winning the Safety Slogan Contest! “Safety First - Avoid the Worst”.
We appreciate Javier for going above and beyond in our warehouse, stepping up to keep shipments running smoothly during a busy vacation season—thank you for your hard work and dedication!
Our Slitting Department shattered their 2014 records for both Poundage and Footage this summer, a testament to the incredible teamwork and dedication that drive timely delivery of quality film—congratulations to the entire team on this outstanding achievement!
We celebrated hitting our scrap and quality goals with a well-deserved pizza and ice cream party—cheers to our team for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence!
We’re deeply honored to have received a United States flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, presented to Joe Imburgia and the Packaging Personified team by Representative A. Drew Ferguson. This meaningful gesture, especially following Veterans Day, reflects the dedication and integrity we strive to uphold every day. Thank you, Representative Ferguson, for this special recognition!
Big Anniversaries
This year, we were thrilled to celebrate employee anniversaries spanning from an incredible 45 years to 10 years, along with many more in between (and outside of!) those impressive milestones. These anniversaries reflect the dedication, talent, and teamwork that drive our success every day.
