We also celebrated some impressive anniversaries and welcomed new faces to the team, making it the perfect start to a promising year.

Mateo R. 5 Years
Mateo plays a huge role in the success of our press department. His keen attention to detail and commitment to quality shine through in every product he runs.
Robbie, our Production Manager, shares: “After the departure of Press 6, Mateo stepped right up and trained to run Press 7. His dedication and willingness to grow have made a huge impact on our team.”

Spencer B. 15 Years
A huge congratulations to Spencer on his 15-year anniversary with PPI!
Spencer’s journey with PPI is a testament to hard work, precision, and leadership. Over the years, he has grown from learning the trade of blown film to becoming an indispensable part of our team.
Noel, our Extrusion Manager, shares: “In my second stint with PPI, Spencer was merely an operator learning the trade of blown film. As time went on, I quickly realized that anything he did was done precisely, with both quality and production in mind. His work ethic led him to run his own shift, and his attributes spilled over to those who worked under him. Now, as our first-shift department supervisor, he’s excelling at a high level, training as needed and supporting all aspects of the extrusion department—from maintenance to inventory supply. We are very happy to have him on our team and look forward to accomplishing endless goals together. Happy 15th Anniversary, Spencer!”

Breaking Records!
Our press department has outdone itself in 2024, achieving the most pounds ever run in PPI history! This incredible accomplishment shattered our previous record by 1.2 million pounds—an inspiring milestone that underscores the hard work and dedication of our press team. 👏
And it doesn’t stop there. Even with a scheduled December shutdown, the team managed to achieve the highest footage run for the month in seven years! 🌟
To our press department: your expertise and commitment are driving PPI to new heights. Here’s to setting even more records in 2025!
